This is a private reference site, not a government office. We cannot confirm custody or release, post bond, obtain official reports, or pull booking records. For a current record, release question, or official document, use the responsible government office below. Call 911 for an emergency.
Custody and Sheriff Records
The Maries County Sheriff’s Office is the official Maries-side contact for local roster questions, non-emergency assistance, and reports it created or retains. Its public roster distinguishes current inmates from people released within 48 hours. Do not rely on a city name alone for Argyle or Belle incidents, since another county or agency may be the custodian.
Maries County Sheriff’s Office
211 4th Street
Vienna, MO 65582
Mailing address: P.O. Box 23, Vienna, MO 65582
Office / non-emergency: 573-422-3381
Emergency: 911
Office hours: Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
For a report or photo held by the sheriff, use the official Report Request Form. It asks for the incident date, place, report type, involved parties, reason, delivery selection, contact information, and signature. The sheriff publishes a three-business-day action statement, $10 per report, $0.10 per page after two pages, $5 per photo, advance payment, and possible extra charges for an extensive search. The form lists fax 573-422-3100 and provides email, mail, and office-pickup options.
Court and Case Verification
A booking is not a court disposition. For a public case search, begin with Missouri Case.net by name or case number. Case.net may not display protected matters and is not a certified record. For a complete or certified court record, use the Maries County Circuit Clerk.

For a prosecutorial-office question, the Maries County Prosecuting Attorney is at the courthouse, P.O. Box 212, Vienna, MO 65582, telephone 573-422-3396. Published office hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. These offices can address court and case processes, but a public docket entry alone does not prove current custody or guilt.
Other Official Record Channels
Each of these sources covers a different custody or records question, so use the one that matches the agency and custody status involved.
- Recent Maries custody: Use the official sheriff roster for current local custody and releases within the stated 48-hour window.
- Missouri DOC custody or supervision: Search the Missouri DOC Offender Search. It is a separate state-custody and supervision resource, not a local booking feed.
- Federal custody: The Federal Bureau of Prisons locator covers federal inmates and does not replace the county roster.
- ICE detention: The ICE detainee locator requires the identifying details specified by ICE and does not establish a Maries County booking.
- Crime-tip information: The sheriff lists 800-351-8477 (TIPS). Do not approach or attempt to detain anyone. Use 911 for immediate danger.
